Before You Say “I DO”

The decision you are about to make is greater than two simple words, “I DO.” As easy as they are to pronounce, they are powerful enough to redirect the course of your life.

I know you have long desired this moment. I know you have waited, hoped, prayed, and perhaps even imagined the day you would finally be asked that question or be ready to ask it yourself.

But before you say “I DO,” can I ask you a few questions? Are you truly convinced? And more importantly, who or what is convincing you? Is it your emotions? Your instincts? Your gut feeling?

As strong as they may feel, they are not enough to carry forever. Forever is too weighty to be handed over to feelings alone. You are not just deciding for today, you are stepping into tomorrow.
